This three drawer drum chest is made from 100% solid mango wood. The drum offers three drawers of ample space for small items like keys, loose change and also has the capacity to display items such as photos, ornaments and collectibles. The drawers come complete with shiny brass knobs, and the drum chest has a fine oak like finish. This product can be used as either a bedside table, end table or an occasional table.

Why use Mango Wood

Mango Wood, comes from the tropical tree that grows the mango fruit. Mango wood is highly sustainable due to the fact that it grows relatively quickly for a hardwood tree. The fruit is harvested and sold, when the trees reach maturity after about 15 years and stop producing fruit. They are harvested for wood and a new tree is planted, this creates a sustainable plantation and harvest.

Mango tree plantations can be found around the globe in tropical climates. Mango Wood is a sustainable alternative to teak and is a durable hardwood, meaning that it is perfect for creating bespoke furniture designs. The wood has unique natural grains that make each piece simply burst with character.

Aftercare:
Timber: Avoid placing your furniture under direct sunlight and/or near radiators. Also, occasionally polish the non-painted furniture parts with bees wax to retain sheen and for longer lifespan.
